The Dream Big Project

The Dream Big Project: Pursuing a Dream

The Dream Big Project brings professional people of color together with students to discuss their career paths. They talk about their professional journeys, the obstacles they faced, and how they overcame those impediments. The purpose is to create awareness of and motivate students to consider careers in medicine and science, technology, engineering, business, education, and other fields. This program is targeted at classes that have an interest in breaking barriers and challenging systemic racism. Students will have the opportunity for Q & A through the virtual platform. In the past, the forum was live, but, now the program is offered to classroom teachers virtually.

Wake up and dream about
The plans you have in store for you
But keep in mind
It’s not just what you do
But what you do it for and who…

Break down the barriers but
Don’t bend the rules
Never forget your roots
As you head for something new
